The following pictures (all images from video) are from the Choapa trip on the dive boat Sea Lion, Sunday, August 22, 1999.

Enrique Alvarez on the yardarm of the forward mast. You can see the sisle attaching the ascent line to the wreck.
Christina on the Choapa. Enrique took this one of me at the end of my bottom time.
Enrique Alvarez ascends at the end of his dive. Visibility in mid water and on top was awesome, quite a difference from down on the wreck! The color of the water was a bit different also.
Rick Jaszyn descends to do a dive on the Choapa. Rick is one of the most experienced wreck divers on the East Coast, and has been diving the Choapa for over 20 years.
Believe it or not, this is looking up at the Sea Lion from 50 feet! Visibility improves the closer you are to the surface. It's hard to believe this is the Mud Hole.
Enrique plays around with the Sea Lion's surface supplied O2 rig. As you can see, visibility at the 10 and 20 foot stops was fantastic!
Rick Jaszyn, back from his dive on the Choapa.
The pigeon is still exhausted, asleep in the Sea Lion cabin.
"I dig, therefore I am"
The Sea Lion breaks the sisle down on the wreck by pulling back on it.
I hope you have enjoyed my images from our trip to the Choapa, we hope to be back soon, next time hitting the bridge area!
